Phenomenal experience buying our very first home!
After months of searching for a home and working with numerous real estate agents, we came across a listing that looked and sounded too good to be true. I remember saying to my husband, "we can call the listing agent but get ready for another run-around and no follow-up phone call." I am not a pessimist by any means; however, our experience was not all that pleasant on many occasions. Nevertheless, I called and left a message for Nancy, and within 30 minutes, she called me back, and we had the most lovely conversation where she shared details about the house and promised to send photos as none were listed because the house was very new to the market. To my surprise, Nancy kept her word and send us photos, and we scheduled a walk-through, and it was love at first sight. Nancy was warm, inviting, extremely knowledgeable about the house and the neighborhood, and most importantly, she was REAL. We put an offer in and prayed for the best. It was a couple of days later when we received Nancy's call saying that the owner accepted our offer, and we were ECSTATIC. Nancy was there for us every step of the way and provided us with the knowledge and guidance that we needed to close without any issues. Let me start off this review by saying that our home buying experience was anything but easy, to no fault of our realtor at all, but he took everything in stride. It started off great. We submitted an offer and it was accepted soon after and we were very happy, as was our realtor, Michael. Unfortunately, after about 2 and 1/2 months, that deal fell through and we were left having to look for a new home for our family.
Michael didn't miss a beat. During our first round, he showed us houses even though he wasn't even our original realtor. He was honest with us and I learned so much from him about the market and septic systems and housing in general, that I knew when we had to start over again we would ask him to be our realtor once again.
On the second round, he was just as happy to help us find our home, and showed us a wide variety of houses that we requested, always getting back to us right away and always being on good terms with the other realtor. Honestly, during the process, it seemed like everybody knew Michael. He even recommended our lender, and that experience was pretty seamless as well.
I recommend Michael Bohdan without reservation to anybody who is looking to buy a home. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his clients.

Donna is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We had to sell a relative's house, and do not live close by. Donna stepped in at every turn and helped us find people to empty it, and to clean it, and then to paint it. When the snow started, she found people to plow it. When the septic was questioned, she found someone to inspect it. She stopped in to check the oil, met contractors there for us, and generally helped us nonstop with everything that needed to get done. We could not have prepared the house and sold it from a distance without her. And of course, she got us a great price!! She really knows the area and knows what people want. Doug has been super helpful! He listens to buyer requirements, likes/dislikes, and offers a portfolio of possible homes to perspective buyers. Honest and open as a buyer's agent. Doug also puts in the time required to dig deeper in to questions and concerns that might be raised on properties before the buyer even asks. For my personal example of looking for a house with full basement, 2 car garage, he was able to find listing that I missed, help plot a path of showings on multiple listings, and does all of the follow-up work in a top quality manner. Doug is also very familiar with the areas he services, is well informed on demographics, school systems, and other very useful information for perspective buyers. An actual buyer's agent in the real sense of the term, he comes prepared and has your best interests in mind, and not at all a 'quick sale guy' like many of the agents happen to be.
