Kittatinny Valley State Park

This park's features include Glacial lakes, limestone outcroppings, former railroads, and a small airport. Lake Aeroflex and Gardner's Pond form part of the headwaters of the Pequest River and are excellent for fishing and boating. The park is home to a variety of wildlife such as whitetail deer, wild turkeys, a variety of songbirds, beavers, muskrats, and squirrels. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry.

Andover Regional School District

This district consists of two schools: Florence M. Burd Elementary School and Long Pond Middle School. The Andover Regional Schools aim to prepare students to successfully meet the challenges of today and tomorrow by fostering a love of learning. Their safe, supportive, and stimulating environment encourages students to reach their full potential. It is an expectation that all students will achieve the New Jersey Student Learning Standards at every grade level.
