Vernon Township School District is made up of 5 schools that serve students from kindergarten to 12th grade. The overall mission of the Vernon Township Public Schools is the attainment of learning for all students. That mission is and will continue to be accomplished by a supportive, professional, and highly skilled staff, in a student-centered environment that encourages building students’ self-esteem.

Mountain Creek Resort

Wawayanda State Park

Wawayanda State Park consists of over 60 miles of well-marked trails in addition to a 19.6-mile section of the Appalachian Trail. Forested hills surround Lake Wawayanda, creating a restful backdrop for canoeists, boaters, and fishermen, while steep mountains challenge casual as well as serious hikers.
