The Newton Theatre

The historic Newton Theatre, founded in 1924, is a beautifully restored 605-seat performing arts center in the heart of Sussex County, presenting diverse programming, including world-renowned music acts, comedians, family productions, holiday shows, and much more, in an intimate setting.

Newton Public School District

The Newton Public School District is a K-12 district with an enrollment of over 1,500 students in their elementary, middle, and high schools. The high school is home to Newton residents as well as students from neighboring Andover Borough, Andover Township and Green Township.

Sussex County Historical Society

The purpose of the SCHS is to promote public knowledge and interest in the history of Sussex County, New Jersey, and surrounding areas by compiling, publishing and disseminating information; collecting, preserving and studying historical, genealogical and archaeological records, documents, papers and artifacts; maintaining a public museum; promoting the preservation and protection of buildings.
